 don't know about you guys, but we're sweating it out here in the midwest!!! it's close to 100 degrees right now, and my hair doesn't appreciate it. my tip is John Frieda's frizzy to smooth serum, it really works! =D

drink tons and tons of water, water will keep your skin hydrated and happy!

summer days...

isn't life crazy? one day after another of not blogging, and suddenly you forget that you even HAVE a blog... =D summer is in session, and i am loving every second of it.

just got back from summer camp (i know, very cliche) and feel great. it was a christian camp, and it really opened my heart to God, and his teachings. i don't want to impose my religion on you, so feel free to scroll through this section if you don't want to hear about it. i was moved. it was amazing to hear about this father, up above your head, who will love you no matter what. ( i know, we always hear about that in sunday school, but who really listens?) God will love you, you are his child.    if you have a bible, and a free moment or two, i encourage you to look up this verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.  God will love you no matter what. let him in. =)


did we all see the PLL summer premier? i didn't, my DVR is calling me.... asking me to watch... =D but 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' will be on soon, and my sister wants to watch that. what did you guys think of MBFGW? i thought it was insane, but absolutely loved it. it was verrrrrrry buzz-worthy. well done, TLC.  being a total GLEEK at heart, i'm disppointed that GLEE is in the off season, but whatevs.


What does your summer wardrobe look like? Mine screams HOLLISTER. =D
Hollister makes very girly and feminine ensembles, if you like the flowery look, i would suggest Hollister. American Eagle offers more of a rustic/boho/slightly tomboyish/slightly feminine look, with a fun feeling. Aeropostale is a happy Medium between HOLL/AE. =)

so... i survived my ACT. =) it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. i got home, took a shower, and crashed on the couch with my pug puppy, Bella. she's adorable. =)

so... how did you guys spend your saturday? i'm going out for dinner with some family and friends in a few hours, i guess i should go do hair. =) see ya.

freaking.....

i'm taking the ACT test today, well in an hour, and i'm freaking out. i suppose it doesn't matter becaus im only a freshman, i was invited to take it because i scored highly on standardized tests, but i'm still nervous. i kind of feel like i'm going to barf up my muffin.... ew......


but yes. i mean when i take the whole thing... that'll be a nightmare. i want to go to Texas Chrisitan University and study psychology, or interior design. do you guys want to get away to college? i'll be a whole 23 hours away from mom and dad. =) my sister doesn't want to go too far from home, though. she wants to go to University of Nebraska, Lincoln, which is only about an hour to two away from our house. she wants to be a music teacher. i want to work with kids, but i don't want crappy pay.

so how were your fridays? mine was okay. i went shopping for the b'not mitzvah dress, but i couldn't find a thing. i'm invited to my friend's, and every dress i tried on was too sexy, or made me look like a nun. nothing in between. agh. do you guys have any suggestions where to shop? i've tried delia's, dillards, deb, wet seal, kohls, and i've found nuh-thing.

are you guys lisi harrison fans? her last book, "A Tale of Two Pretties" is coming out! it's the last book The Clique series, and tells about how Massie and Claire sort things out after the Block family becomes poor. scandelous, huh? lol, not really...

so what are you guys doing for valentines day? my birthday happens to fall on valentines day, so i'll be at the Cheesecake Factory with my family for dinner. do you guys have boyfriends? i have a few exes, but i'm still looking for that boy that fits me just right. but i'm not sure if i want to get too attatched before college, if we go to different schools we would have to have a long-distance relationship. and those never work out... =( oopsies.

monday

=) i know mondays aren't really the fun-est days ever, but today was pretty good.
my alarm went haywire and went off at 4:45 am, and since i can never go back to sleep after i wake up, the day started pretty early... but whatever. we had in impromptu show choir rehearsal in the commons, and we are ah-mazing! we're going to a competition on the 17th, and whoever else is there, we're going to kick a three letter word for butt. =D

so were you guys packers or steelers? honestly, i didn't really  care, but if i had to choose, i'm glad the packers won. we have family up in wisconsin, and they wre really hoping the packers would win... =) but cheers to all. raise you glass to the fact your team at least made it to the superbowl. as a chicago native, i'm used to my favorite team sucking, but it would be nice to see duh-bears win.... occasionally...

i had a hair-revolution. as an early-birthday present, i got my hair cut and professionally straightened! it's insane, when i look in the mirror now, i barely regcognize myself, it's in-sane.

hate bad hair days...

snow day! here in the midwest we're under a blanket of snow! =)

so..... if i was to compare my hair type to somebody everybody knows, i'd give myself a Lucy Hale. (aria, on pretty little liars) i have wavy curls and a side part, and volume.
this morning i woke up to a horrible, horrible sight. it was a major bad hair day, so i'm spending time with my CHI straightener, hoping to smooth it over... wish me luck =D
as of now, it's pulled into a messy side-ponytail.

Alison had a twin. she had mental issues and was going to be sent to a mental hospital. she read ali's diary, and knew all the girl's secrets. when the real alison escaped from the mental hospital, she decided to kill courtney for revenge. so as you see, Alison was never really dead.

when courtney took over alison's life, she had to be thourough. rosewood never knew alison dilaurentis had an identical twin, since alison's parents sent her away to the mental hospital. courtney decided that if she was going to be "alison" she couldn't hang out with alison's old friends. they would definately know something was up, so........... she made a whole new group. that's where Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily come into the picture.

well girls, it's that time of year again. show choir season, so i'm working my ass of in rehearsals. sucks to suck, doens't it?

also, it's that time of year when whenever you look out your window, you're peeking into a winter wonderland. snowing here, and completely gorgeous. going to spin out a little bit of random descriptive writing...

It felt like being on a giant sugar cookie, being dusted with little grains of powdered sugar, so white and pure. for snow, something that felt so light and innocent, it weighed down the branches of trees and brought power lines down. there's something comforting about it, though. when the sun peeks through the clouds, it makes the snow sparkle like edward cullen, millions of tiny tiffany's embedded in the snow.


so... how'd i do?????????

word to the wise, winter is the worst time to start a new relationship.

snow keeps you apart, and you have no frickin' idea what he does on his snow days... do you? hm. =)
